Company Background Our client is one of the Norwegian manufacturer of children's furniture and accessories. Due to the business expansion, they are now seeking a new member of Sourcing Manager APAC. This position is responsible for supplier sourcing and management, ensuring the optimal supplier setup in the APAC region aligned with their strategy.   Responsibilities Manage and optimize suppliers, focusing on product quality, purchase price, cost calculations, production capacity, risk management, continuous improvement, and contractual framework. Source, qualify, and ramp up 1st/2nd Tier suppliers following procedures. Monitor and develop manufacturers and their sub-suppliers on a daily basis. Develop the team and establish a robust sourcing presence in APAC Develop and implement short and long-term strategies for APAC suppliers in collaboration with key stakeholders. Contribute to the long-term APAC sourcing strategy, including strategy development and execution. Provide production insight and methods to support product development. Identify technology opportunities in relevant areas (plastic, textiles, wood, metals, etc.)
