Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Seek out and capitalize on new business opportunities to boost market share.
  • Drive efforts to strengthen and grow relationships with existing routing clients.
  • Meet and surpass quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Build a robust network and maintain strong relationships with co-loading partners.
  • Manage the preparation and delivery of quotes, sales proposals, reports, presentations, and other essential documents.
  • Strengthen partnerships with carriers to secure better rates and service options, enhancing your competitiveness.
  • Regularly review and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with the Senior Director to develop strategic solutions and address complex customer inquiries.
  • Formulate and execute sales strategies and business plans that align with the organization’s objectives.
  • Mentor and support junior sales staff, cultivating a high-performance sales culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related area.
  • At least 8 years of progressive sales experience in freight forwarding or NVOCC, demonstrating a successful track record.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the import and export consolidation market.
  • Strong background in free hand cargo and prepaid cargo.
  • Proven leadership skills with outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Demonstrated capability to create and implement strategic sales plans.
  • Dependable, proactive, and results-driven with a strong work ethic and readiness to tackle challenges.
  • High proficiency in spoken and written English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
