Team Leader- Data Centre
Job Description
Responsibilities

Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for both scheduled and ad hoc activities.

Equipment Management: Carry out equipment installations, cable installations, decommissioning of equipment, and general housekeeping in the data center.

Incident Response: Handle incidents, troubleshoot problems, and escalate issues to senior staff and management as needed.

Inventory Maintenance: Keep accurate inventory records and prepare related reports.

Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality workmanship in all tasks performed.

Training: Participate in training workshops and on-the-job training provided to all new hires.

Environmental Monitoring: Monitor the data center environment, including air conditioning, humidity levels, and fire protection equipment.

System Monitoring: Oversee systems to identify malfunctions and initiate corrective actions to maintain schedules and ensure production integrity.

Basic Operations: Manage basic operations of computer systems and associated peripherals.

Media Management: Handle media storage, including hard disks, SSDs, and tapes.
Requirements
-
Technical Institute graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related discipline
-
3-5 years management work experience in Date Centre
-
Experienced in Data Centre and Structured Cabling is a plus
