Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Key Account Management: Act as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts, building strong relationships and ensuring alignment with customer needs.
  • Operational Oversight: Lead the operational team responsible for the end-to-end sea freight consolidation process, conducting analyses for volume forecasts and sailing plans.
  • Daily Operations Management: Ensure smooth daily operations, adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and high service quality levels.
  • Customer Engagement: Regularly engage with customers through meetings, conference calls, and presentations to better understand their requirements, build trust, and ensure a unified approach to account management.
  • Tailored Solutions Development: Understand customer requirements to design customized solutions and implement strategic business development plans that leverage the company's offerings.
  • Project Leadership: Lead projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing customer acquisition, implementations, and the development of products and systems.


 Requirements

  • A degree in logistics, transportation, or a related field is preferred; extensive experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Significant and solid experience in Seafreight export operations, with strong management experience in leading a team, particularly in the Far East to Oceanic regions.
  • Mandatory experience in managing global-scale key accounts.
  • Solid experience in carrier procurement, with the ability to address and resolve daily space and equipment issues with carriers.
  • Proficient in various MS Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  •  Strong execution skills with a proven performance track record.
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Mandarin.
  • Capable of working under pressure while managing demanding timelines and workloads.
