Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Business Trend Analysis: Analyze and interpret business trends to deliver financial insights that aid senior management in decision-making.
  • Leadership in Financing Initiatives: Spearhead diverse financing efforts, including equity and debt financing, private equity partnerships, and cross-border capital deployment, to enhance the company’s capital structure and reduce funding costs.
  • Gap Analysis and Action Planning: Identify necessary actions to close any gaps by consistently monitoring the annual plan and implementing suitable action strategies.
  • Relationship Building with Financial Entities: Establish and maintain strong relationships with investors, banks, and financial institutions to further the company’s financial objectives.
  • Oversight of Financial Reporting: Ensure high-quality financial reporting and provide actionable recommendations to senior management based on thorough analysis.
  • Process Enhancement: Continuously optimize financial processes to significantly improve the efficiency, accuracy, and transparency of the finance function.
  • Data and Reporting Development: Create and coordinate essential financial and statistical data and reports as needed.
  • Financial Strategy Analysis: Evaluate and provide consultation on the financial implications of crucial departmental strategies for growth.
  • Team Collaboration and Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships and teamwork among various departments and staff throughout the organization to maximize performance.
  • Team Leadership and Mentorship: Lead a team of finance professionals in the region, offering leadership, guidance, hands-on management, and mentorship.


 Requirements

  • University graduate with a recognized degree in fields such as finance, accounting, business, or related areas.
  • Holder of relevant professional qualifications such as Chartered Accountant, CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 10 years of financial management experience within a publicly listed company.
  • Strong background in the investment community and experience in fundraising.
  • Previous work experience in a China-based enterprise.
